"Well I got what I could, hard to see, but better than nothing." Sebastian finishes the last one before the computer clicks and then tears out the sheet, pocketing it as well, and then places the notebook roughly back where he found it. He puts the pen on the desk then turns to Jacky as he heads for the door.

"Got everything? Let's go."

He heads out the doorway and for the stairs once he is sure everything but what he took was as he'd left it. The shotgun is shouldered for now, his blade is back out in case of company. He hoped once they got out of here Marcus might be able to recognize names, if not would know someone who could.

"Yeah, all set, let's get outta here."
Jacky follows Sebastian to the stairs and, supposing there's no trouble, continues down and out the back door where they came in.

Rowan is still to be found watching the stairs as they return, and the trio make their way downstairs and towards the kitchen again.
As they get to the kitchen, barely metres from the back door, the phone rings.

Sebastian walks for the door and as he steps into the kitchen he freezes, looking over at the phone as it trills in the quiet of the again darkened house. He glances at the others a moment then frowns deeply.

"Mierda!" He whispers then moves for the door, glancing at the windows in the kitchen as he does.

Jacky frowns at the sound of the phone, then smirks at Seb's response.
"Yeah, whatever you said, I agree."
She follows him out the back and to the alleyway.
"Why don't you go check out the street? You're Assamite, you can do that 'hide in plain sight' thing, right?"
She rolls her eyes.
"Obviously we'll look the other way."

The phone keeps ringing until they're out in the back alley again, before it stops as the answer machine picks it up.
Jacky is confident that there's no-one watching them from the surrounding houses, but Sebastian can't really tell either way.

Sebastian bit his tongue before he said something spiteful and more importantly completely unhelpful in their situation. He narrowed his eyes a second then nodded and disappeared around the corner of the house, heading for the street as he faded into the night.

Seb finds his way down the alleyway behind the row of houses, and back to where it joins the street. Looking around from the mouth of the alleyway, Sebastian can't see any sign of unwanted watchers. It looks clear.

Jacky turns away while Seb makes his way down the alleyway and keeps an eye out for any signs of trouble from the other end of the alleyway. Seeing none, she looks back to where Sebastian had been and waits for him to give some sort of signal that the coast is clear.

After about a minute or two, once he was certain as he could be no one was watching the house, Sebastian turned and headed a couple of steps back into the alley before dropping the disappearing act. He nodded to Jacky and gestured that all was clear.

Maybe, just maybe, the light coming on and the phone ringing were unfortunate coincidences, and not someone spying that had nearly caught them in the act. He walked back to the women with an unhurried, but steady pace. "Might want to stick to the back alley way until we're a bit off from here." He said, gesturing to the pilfered gun.

"Alright, you want to go somewhere and check over those addresses? We could call Gary to come pick us up, actually. He might be a pussy, but he didn't seem like an idiot."
She pulls out her phone as they make their way away from the scene of the crime and takes out Gary's card in the other hand. She dials in the number, glancing briefly up at Sebastian in case he raises an objection.

Rowan follows the pair along until they get to the next street intersection before interjecting.
"I've got some other things to take care of, I'll see you 'round."
She heads off down the intersection road and away from them.

Sebastian and Jacky don't spot anyone pursuing them from the direction of the house.

Sebastian nodded as Rowan left, not a bit surprised. Breaking and entering wasn't exactly a Toreador's specialty or preference. He turned his attention back to Jacky. "Yeah, I do, was hard to see what I was writing in there, but I'm hoping something is useful."

He agreed the 'chemist' was cowardly, but seemed intelligent enough, and they were supposed to be working together, after all. This part was something far less risky so the odd man might be of use.

"Come pick us up will you. You might be able to make yourself useful after all."
"Oh, well, I'm kind of cooking.
"Cooking? What the hell are you cooking?"
"It's a suprise."
"Whatever, get your backside down here and pick us up."
"Oh, well, uh, ok."
She hangs up on him.
"He's 'cooking' a suprise for us, apparently. He'll be here soon."

"I don't like surprises from people I don't know very well, usually turn out badly."

He frowned as Jacky hung up and he turned slightly to keep an eye on things around them. Gary was going to be a few minutes, and anything could happen in those minutes. He sighed and used the nearest wall to prop himself up. "He'd better hurry."

They're left in peace, waiting on the corner for the sight of Gary's van, and neither of them see any sign of trouble while they wait.
Eventually, the familiar ugly van rumbles into the street and they get in before Gary drives them away.
